Press Release: Falling Leaf Founder nominated for inaugural Circle of Inspiration Awards

Lindsay Galloway-Hall, founder of sustainable clothing brand Falling Leaf, has been recognised as an inspirational woman in business, having been nominated in the Women in Retail category of BWC Glasgow's newly launched Circle of Inspiration Awards.

The awards have been created to reward women in business and the community across an array of categories. Once nominated, candidates can collect votes up to the closing date of 25th April, at which point the finalists in each category will be identified.

Lindsay said: “I'm delighted to have been nominated for these brand new awards, particularly with them being specifically designed to support women in business. It can be a lonely road starting up a business on your own, it's so great to feel a part of such a supportive community. It's also a real boost to all of us to be recognised for all the hard work we've put in to get here."

Launched in 2021, Lindsay's brand, Falling Leaf, is an affordable, environmentally and socially conscious line of clothing and accessories with a Scottish photography twist. This latest nomination comes on the back of Falling Leaf being shortlisted for the StartUp Awards National Series last year, with Lindsay also being a finalist herself for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards - not bad for her first full year in business.

The creator of the new Circle of Inspiration Awards, BWC (Business Women Connections), is an organisation created by Ev Foster to support and connect women in business, building a network of like-minded people and sharing the resources to help their enterprises to develop and grow.

The winners of the Circle of Inspiration Awards will be announced at the Glitzy Gala Final which takes place in the voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on 25th May, which will be hosted by the fabulous Mr Edward Reid. More information on tickets to the event, sponsorship opportunities, and on membership of the BWC can be found here.

If you would like to vote for Lindsay and Falling Leaf, or would like to nominate another inspirational woman in your life, you can do so here.
